Mala to be used - Rudraksha, Crystal or White Chandan Mala.

Yantra to be used - " Shree Gayatri Maha -Mritunjaya Yantra" made on a copper plate, on the day auspicious as per your date of birth.

Offerings to be made - Milk &Water offered in a copper vessel, Chandan, Belpatra, flowers of Madar or any White or blue colour flowers, Akshat, Dhoop, Ghee/ Oil lamp etc.
( Important - The offering of water using Shankh (Shell) and Tulsi leaves is forbidden on Shivling ).

Procedure - While speaking the Shiva mantra, offer Akshat and flowers, Belpatra on shivlingam. While repeating mantra always sit on woolen, silken cloth or dear skin.
